At Cranfield Alpacas, we currently offer 3 main experiences to fit the needs of everyone – from parents & younger children, extended family groups, groups of friends, couples and independent travellers looking for a unique day out.

Beach Trek
Meet your friendly alpaca and take them for a leisurely stroll down country lanes, enjoying the stunning views as you head down to our beautiful, golden beach. Our Alpacas absolutely adore being walked on the beach. Join them for some fun in the sand and have an experience unlike any other.
The beach trek lasts approx 90 minutes and includes refreshments. This experience is not suitable for young children aged 7 years and under. We would recommend the field trek for them. Children aged 12 years and over can lead their own alpaca but must be accompanied by an adult.

Field Walk
Our 60 minute Alpaca field walks are absolutely perfect for families with children of all ages. Take one of our gorgeous Alpacas for a walk around the paddocks and our field with stunning views of the Mourne Mountains and Carlingford Lough. After working up an appetite, our Alpacas love to be hand fed by you and your family, and you can enjoy our picnic tables. Perfect for younger children or for Grandparents who want to take their Grandchildren for a stroll with our boys.

Alpaca Adventure Trail
Meet, greet and feed our charming Alpacas in a safe, outdoor environment. Our alpaca adventure trail experience lets you get up close to our family of Alpacas in a relaxed, at your pace way. Which Alpaca will be your favourite? The perfect experience for families and those with special needs and mobility issues. This experience lasts approx 45 minutes.
