The perfect day out for you and your family
An ideal opportunity for the younger children to help take an alpaca for a walk, finishing off with meeting, mingling and feeding the rest of the gang.
What to expect
You will learn all about alpacas and get introduced to your alpaca.
The trek is around our large field with stunning views of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains.
As we are an outdoor experience, please wear sensible footwear and clothing as the weather in N Ireland can be changeable!
Prams can be parked at your picnic table but aren’t suitable for the walk itself.
The whole experience will last approximately 60 minutes
Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before your alpaca experience is due to begin, so that it can start on time. If you miss your alpaca experience start time, then this will invalidate your booking. We, along with the other guests, greatly appreciate your assistance with this.

Who is it suitable for?
The field trek experience is ideal for those who have young children or feel that the trek to the beach and back may be too far for them. This experience is only 60 minutes, so suitable if you are shorter on time.
What do we do on the experience?
We enjoy a leisurely trek around the paddocks and field, while you can enjoy the spectacular scenery.
I am not very mobile, is this suitable?
We have picnic tables for those, who would just like to sit and watch their friends or family enjoy their alpaca field trek and take in the views – you can purchase an additional guest ticket.
How early should I arrive for my booking?
