There are lots of opportunities for pictures, Instagram stories and Tik Tok videos, during your alpaca trek experience.
What to expect
Start the year with a fun, relaxing alpaca experience that will turbo boost your wellbeing. It will include a chilled out walk to the beach with your alpaca, where you can boost your positive ions intake, feel yourself relaxing to the sound of the waves washing the sand. On returning to base you will finish the experience with a Super booster to your immune system. We have partnered with the award winning local organic artisan health drink producer Squeeze Wheatgrass, grown and harvested just along the shores of Carlingford Lough. Enjoy hearty wild garlic soup with wheatgrass after your walk, as Cranfield is known as the “wild garlic wood”. For those less adventurous, we will also have hearty potato & leek soup as an alternative.
Our beach treks usually last approximately 90-120 minutes. Refreshments are included.
We are so lucky to have one of the best beaches in Ireland on our doorstep – we know you will all love it too!
If the date you wish to visit isn’t available, or you want to book something more bespoke, please do get in contact with us and we will endeavour to accommodate you.

Beach Trek FAQ’s
How long does the trek last?
The trek normally lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours.
Is the beach trek suitable for wheelchair users?
Unfortunately, due to the terrain, it is not suitable for wheelchair users. However, our Meet and Mingle experience is perfect for people with mobility issues.
Where do you walk?
We trek along country lanes to the beach and back, however we are on a country road for a short distance. The alpacas are used to vehicles passing them – please follow all instructions from your trek guides.
How early should I arrive for my booking?
Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes before your alpaca experience is due to begin, so that it can start on time. If you miss your alpaca experience start time, then this will invalidate your booking. We, along with the other guests, greatly appreciate your assistance with this.
